Strategy and Design Advisory

Leaving people behind

TAYLOR Strategy and Design Advisory (T-SDA) is an idea-driven strategy and design advisory committed to intellectual and creative in-the-box thinking. It is the mononymous manifestation of Jack Thomas Taylor’s passion for cultural and creative strategy.

Like you, we seek the right conditions and like-mindedness that encourages innovation, experimentation, failure and unexpected trajectories. We might not know the answer today, but we will help you find it. We read before we think. And we think before we speak. We will create a safe space for you to be free and will help you understand what role you play in the market.

You’re right. There are people just like you. That’s us!

We are always open to unconventional propositions and realising big ideas. We aim to add value in multiple ways. Our practice is fuelled by the honest endeavour of having a positive impact on brands, people and environments.

We only leave some people behind

Having solid relationships with interrelated disciplines—art, culture, academia, and design—encourages a genuine and holistic approach to the way we work.

At our heart, we focus on developing—ideas, brands and spaces. We also work on re-developing identities, cross-developing strategies, co-developing concepts and inter-developing everything else. This takes strategising, researching and thinking to a different level.

No one does it alone

As a team, we are multi-taskers. We can create, art direct and design brands and experiences—big or small. Our approach is unparalleled: creating instantly recognisable and totally unforgettable experiences that make the world look fresher, better and more alive.

We’re a collaborative hive mind

Although we are based in Doha, Qatar, for you, we will cherry-pick the best talent suited to the project. This means we might be your opening act, getting you warmed up and your creative ideas flowing, or we could be your last resort when everything you have tried has failed and you need some critical intervention. Regardless of your needs, we are here to help you grow.

Never changed since 1991

He is a double alum from Central Saint Martins, University of Arts London, holding a Masters in Culture, Criticism and Curation with a thesis observing the values that pertain to Universal Expositions (World Expos) and a Masters in Business Administration in Culture and Enterprise jointly awarded by Birkbeck Business School and his alma mater, with a dissertation with distinction questioning if business strategy tools can be used in the arts and culture domain.

In 2023 Taylor was appointed a founding member of the International Council of Museums’ branch in Qatar, ICOM Qatar.

It takes three to tango

We don’t have a big shiny office to invite you to, but we are a group of creatives who work specifically in the creative field, and we all play for different reasons but as one team. We choose the projects and clients we want to work with. We also choose the people that work on them. Our victories are measured by how well we help brands articulate who they are, what they stand for and how they look, feel, taste, smell and sound when people encounter them. Working with us will mean you’ll benefit from working with an international team.
